See how the team at Little creates their own unique Valentine's Day Cards.
Little's sales associate, Jane, is part of the movement to modernize crafting skills from decades past. Here is an easy way to learn the love of cross stitch.
I love an excuse to pull out the crafting supplies but a toddler at home means that glue, glitter + paper will immediately become a huge mess. Plus it's difficult to find the quiet time to devote to a project like this so I needed to find something I could work on 'on the fly.' I ended up choosing a little cross stitch heart; the heart was simple + small enough that I was able to work on it throughout the day while I chatted with my daughter, watched the Super Bowl, waited for dinner to cook etc.
I had the pink thread + the aida cloth on hand so I just needed a pattern. A quick google search later I had located a perfectly sized free pattern + I was off! I find the repetitiveness of cross stitching to be quite meditative so this Valentine's treat brought me a lot of joy. In these crazy times, it felt right to pass along a little heart to my lovely colleagues!
