In 2012, Emily Johnson started drawing handmade cards for her friends + co-workers. Quickly, she was recruited to create cards for friends of friends. Eventually, Johnson was able to work with a printer who could re-create her color palette and reproduce her beautiful stationery creations. With that, Hartland Brooklyn was born, and a collection of temporary tattoos were even added to the mix. Each card is printed with vegetable-based inks on high-quality felted paper + the envelopes are made from post consumer paper bags. We know we love the sweet sentiments behind Hartland Brooklyn products — we can’t wait to hear if you do too!
