Unlike other retail businesses, Loog started out in an academic setting. Rafael Atijas came up with the idea for his Master’s thesis while studying at New York University. Following up a Kickstarter campaign in 2011, Loog not only made their goal but surpassed it by over $50,000, truly helping bring the vision to life.
