General Policy

In-store Pickup

In-store pickup is now available at our sister store, Bliss, located up the street at 58 Exchange St. If you select this method, we will notify you in 1-3 business days by email when your order is available for pick-up. Pick up is available during Bliss store hours (Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm). Please note that if you are not happy with your purchase, all returns & exchanges must be processed through the web (see our Return Policy here). You can leave/drop off your return at our Portland store location only after it has been pre-authorized by phone or email.

Shipments

All other orders are shipped via USPS & UPS.
Orders placed before 2pm EST on Monday - Friday will begin processing that day and will ship within 1 – 3 business days pending availability and credit verification. Orders placed after 2pm EST will begin processing the next business day and will ship within 1 – 3 business days. (If your order is placed on Friday after 2pm EST, it will begin processing on the following Monday.)

Delivery time does not include weekends or holidays. Little does not offer combined shipping at this time.
All Web Exclusive pieces will ship within 15 business days from the order date, even if expedited shipping is selected.
Little will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you’ve selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification.
Orders shipped to the US via standard shipping (USPS) can take 5 – 7 business days. Orders sent via Expedited shipping (UPS 2nd Day Air) will be delivered by the end of the second business day. Please keep in mind some locations in Alaska + Hawaii require additional transit time.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages or packages delayed by USPS or UPS. Little does not insure packages unless requested by the customer (additional fee will be added).
For orders going to Canada, our only shipping method at this time is standard shipping, which is a flat $25. Expedited shipping is not available. Customers are responsible for all customs and duties.

Payment Policy

Little accepts the following methods of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept cash, checks, money orders or CODs for online purchases.

We will make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, although we do occasionally sell out of products. If we are out of stock on an item that you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as possible via email. Any changes will be reflected in your order total, as well as your shipping confirmation.

Shipments to addresses within the state of Maine are charged a 5.5% sales tax. All other states will not be charged a sales tax.

We will make every attempt to have consistent pricing in both our store and website. Occasionally, however, we will offer special prices that are exclusive to our online store (and vice versa).

In the event that a Little product is listed incorrectly, we reserve the right to cancel any and all orders. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase, we will remove that item from your order and issue a credit back to your original method of payment for the amount of the incorrect price.

Your personal information is always safe with us; however, if you are not comfortable making a purchase on our website, we are more than happy to take your order by phone.

Store Updates

We are so proud to formally announce that after months of searching, we have found the perfect new location for Little! We’ll be moving into 38 Exchange Street in Portland, just two doors down from our original location and the current home of Bliss! The move will happen this summer, with an exact opening date to be announced later this year. We couldn’t be happier about this move and know that our new location will give customers more of the Little experience they have come to love.
